Q:
How do I earn CPE´s?

A:
Please click on the CPE tab located within the event player to launch the CPE quiz for the event. Once you have passed the quiz with a score of 7 out of 10 or higher, you will be able to download a PDF of your CPE certificate.

Q:
What are the system requirements?

A:
In order to use the full features of the ISACA e-Symposium you will require Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Windows Media Player and a broadband internet connection. Please note that the platform does not currently support Firefox or Safari browsers.
We suggest you test your system ahead of the event to ensure you can participate. Please note that if you are viewing from behind a corporate firewall you may need to ask your IT administrator whether streaming media is blocked. Test your system here

Q:
I registered for the event, how do I login?

A:
On the day of the live event, login approximately 10 minutes before the event start time. Be sure to use your ISACA e-Symposium user id and password at http://isaca.brighttalk.com. Your ISACA e-Symposium user id and password is NOT the same as your ISACA username and password.

Q:
Why can’t I register for the event?

A:
The first time you participate in an ISACA e-Symposium, you will need to register at http://isaca.brighttalk.com. The user id and password are specifically for the ISACA e-Symposium. At this time it is NOT the same as your ISACA username and password.

Q:
What do I do if I have forgotten my password?

A:
To request a new password, please click on the “Log in” link in the upper right hand corner of the page and click the “Request new password” button. Please note that the password email reply may be blocked by your personal SPAM filters or those set by your IT Department. Should you not receive an email from ISACA@BrightTALK.com with your password, please check you SPAM box or contact your IT Department to unblock this email address. Should you still experience problems, please contact delegates@e-symposium.com.

How do I change my password or update my contact details?

A:
To change your password or contact details, log onto the site using your current user name and password. Once you are logged in, click the “Profile” link in the upper right hand corner of the site. Once in the profile area, click on the “Edit” button and enter your new details or password into the appropriate text box then hit “Submit”.

Q:
Am I able to earn CPE hours for an archived or on-demand ISACA e-Symposium?

A:
Yes, you can earn CISA and CISM CPE credits for any of the ISACA e-Symposia by passing (70% correct) a short quiz at the conclusion of each event.

Q:
Are my CPE credits/hours recorded?

A:
Your CPE hours are NOT automatically recorded upon successful completion of the quiz at the end of the event. You are required to maintain a record of your results to report to ISACA during the annual renewal process.

Q:
If I download ISACA e-Symposia archived last year, can I earn CPE credit hours for this year?

A:
Yes. You may earn CPE credit hours for the current year if you download, view and successfully pass the CPE quiz for an ISACA e-Symposium that was archived in a previous year. When you print the CPE certificate, the current date will appear in the footer. All CPE certificates should be retained for audit purposes.

Q:
When do I receive my CPE certificate after viewing an archived event and how do I get it?

A:
Please download your certificate from the quiz player immediately after passing the quiz. An email with a link to your certificate will be sent to you after you complete and pass the quiz but may be blocked by your SPAM filters or IT Department. To ensure that you receive credit, please download the quiz directly after passing the quiz from the quiz player.

I passed my CPE quiz, but I was unable to download my certificate, how do I receive it?

A:

Please email delegates@e-symposium.com. Be sure to include the date you you passed the quiz and the title of the ISACA e-Symposium.

Q:
I am very interested in the event topics, but I cannot attend the live day. May I watch it later?

A:
Yes, the entire program will be archived and available within 72 hours of the completion of the live presentation. You must register for the e-symposium in order to be able to download and view the archive. Please log into the site at http://isaca.brighttalk.com and click the RECORDED EVENTS in the Menu options. You may earn 3 CPE’s by viewing the entire event and completing the quiz at the end of the presentation.

I like to print the presentation materials and take notes. Can I do this?

A:
Yes. On the day of the event, a link will be activated on the player window allowing you to download the presentation.

Q:
What call-in phone number do I use?

A:
A call-in number is not required for the ISACA e-Symposium. The audio is streamed through your speakers, so make sure they're on when you log in.
